Finally ...a kit!

It's been a long time since I posted a kit.  I started making this kit yesterday, and I just couldn't stop until I got it done.  It has 15 papers, 20 elements, an alphabet, 3 masks, and 6 wordarts.  It is a celebration of my daughter's engagement, and I wanted a "fun" kit.  I especially like the "she said yes!" wordart and the hearts border.  I hope you enjoy the kit too.

(please note:  the papers have two parts)

It's Wednesday....

...and you know what that means!  Time for another Wicked Good Wednesday freebie.  :)

This week I'm bring you part 3 of my kit "Always".  It's a big kit, put together with a lot of work and love.  I have loved everything about this kit--the colors, the theme, the making of it.    Hopefully some one out there will find some use for this kit.

If you missed parts 1 and 2, they are posted in earlier threads.  Again, each part can be used separately or together.  Have fun!

A little early tonight...

..for Wicked Good Wednesday!  But, I'm so excited to bring you part one of my special megakit "Always"!   I was inspired by the song "Always Be My Baby" for this kit.  A couple of years ago I made a page for my daughter with some of the lyrics to this song.  She was 20 at the time, and I wanted to remind her that no matter how much she grew up, she would always be my baby.

Humming the tune one day, I realised many parts of this song could be applied to so much of a mother and child's bonds.  I wanted to share my thoughts on this song with others.  I also knew I didn't want this to be just another "baby" kit, I wanted it to be able to "grow" as a child grows, so the colors will work well for baby or adult... or anything in-between.

Each week for 3 weeks, I'll be putting a part on my blog.  Each part should be able to work separately and together.   I'll have 10 papers in each part, 13 elements, 1 alpha, 7 wordarts, and one special add-on in each part as well.  If you get all three parts, you will have 30 papers, 45 elements, 3 alphas, 21 wordarts, 3 templates, and 3 bonus gifts!  Wow!  Hope you enjoy them!

Here is part one:

Time for another freebie!

It's Wicked Good Wednesday again.  :)  Time for another freebie.  Now that summer is here, I've got a kit for you, good for pages when you want just a subtle touch.  The papers are my favorite part.  You can download the full kit all at once, or download the parts separately. Enjoy this kit with your favorite summer beverage by your side.

Party time!

Yep, it's time for another Wicked Good Wednesday freebie, and this week it's party time!  With the recent passings of both Donna Summer and Robin Gibb, I got to thinking about their impacts on the world of music.  Like it or not, disco was certainly a big thing in its day.  And Donna Summer and the Bee Gees were disco royalty.  Originally I was only going to put together a little neon disco kit together to honor the passing of these two performers.  To make a long story short, I ended up with a bigger kit than I expected!  So now we have a real party going on here!  LOL!  Hope you have fun with this one!

EEK!  I FORGOT THE PAPERS PART 2!

Time for another Freebie

Yup, it's Wednesday...again!  And by now, you probablt know that I have another Wicked Good Wednesday freebie for you.  :)

Today's freebie is a fun one--inspired by a calendar I saw the other day.  It has a space to put the date in the box in the upper left corner,  You can use the dates I have supplied, or use your own font.  Heck..it doesn't even have to be a date--type whatever you want!  LOL

In the lower right corner there is a word or phrase, such as imagination, friends, love, etc.  I also included a template if you want to make other words to match.  There is also a blank one with no font so you can put what you want there such as use another font, a decorative caprital letter, a photo, ot an element--let your imagionation run wild!

Here is a little inspiration for you:

wicked good wednesday!

Hopefully today will start a new venture for my blog:  Wicked Good Wednesdays!  LOL!

Maybe not every Wednesday, but I am going to be trying to put new freebies up on Wednesdays either here on this blog, or on my other blog, JudyinDisguseDesigns.blogspot.com.

For those of you not fluent in "Maine talk", wicked is used all the time up here.  It usually means "extremely" i.e. "wicked good",  wicked bad", "wicked awesome".  Sometimes it is used by itself, as in the phrase "that ride was wicked!"

Sorry, fans of the Broadway show "Wicked", but we here in Maine have been using the word "wicked" all our lives.  :)

Anyhow, here is the first wicked good freebie:  a cute little kit called "Cross My Heart".  I love the pinks and greys together.  Hopefully some of you will like it too.  The download is available all in one file,  as well as in split up files.  I did split the previews up, however, to make them easier to see.

Ok, so my Halloween kit is a little late...

LOL!  Happy Scrapbboking Day!  I have a little Halloween kit to give you today.  I know it's a little late.  But I figure some of you out there (you know who you are) haven't gotten around to scrapping those pics yet.  It's not a big kit, but will make a nice addition to some of the other Halloween kits out there.

My arm has healed up very nicely, and my new job is going well so far.  I didn't get to really celbrate Halloween this year though.  I missed being able to hand out treats to the kids.  However, Mother Nature certainly tricked, though--with a pre-Halloween snowstorm!  Of course the snow is mostly gone now.

Anyway, here is your kit:

ENJOY!

Finally!

I am finally offering my latest freebie for your fall and Thanksgiving papers. For lack of a better name (and with no imagination) I call it "Fall and Thanksgiving Mini Kit". To celebrate, I am continuing my Thanksgiving tradition of putting "Alice's Restaurant " on my playlist for my blog, and I have added Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song, too. (Note: the Adam Sandler song does have a line or two in it that my not be suitable for all to hear)

I wanted to put a few more elements in the kit, but I had an accident this week. I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and in my half-asleep state, instead of turning left to go into the bathroom, I turned right. Where the stairs are. I fell down the entire flight of stairs, upstairs to downstairs. Amazingly, I didn't break anything. I have a bruise on the back of my thigh that covers the entire back of the leg, my neck and shoulders are sprained, and I hit my hand so much that I dislocated a finger (and the other fingers are very sore), but nothing is broken. So...using the computer mouse is quite awkward to say the least. I'm playing "seek and ye shall find" with my right index finger to type. (The left fingers are sort of ok to type with.)

To put it mildly, I'm not having a very good year.

August kit

Well, here we are at the end of August! That means it is time for me to put my August kit here on the blog. Since I already did kits for September -December last year, my monthly kits will not have monthly names anymore until January, then from January-April I will have more monthly named kits. I still will be making kits based on colors in photos I've taken, as well as a few other kits with other types of colors. (And of course I'll still have wordarts too!)

Enjoy this kit!
