Yes, I know it's July, and I apologise for just getting my June kit out now. Please forgive me. At least I'm finally getting a month kit out.

I had to put my papers into two downloads instead nof one this time, since I was having some issues with my computer connection timing out.

Happy Forth of July!

Just a quickie today! Some patriotic papers I was fooling around with on my computer. (Not all the same shades of red, white and blue though.) Tomorrow, I hope to get back to posting my kits based on a photo I take each month. I'm a little behind on that right now--I'll be posting June's kit tomorrow! LOL I actually took the picture during one of the few times we had sun during June. Well, I'm on my way now to the New Balance factory store in Oxford today--I can get some great deals there!

Today I have a wonderful quote from Farrah Fawcett. I don't know if any of you out there got a chance to watch the special "Farrah's Story", but I can tell you, it was a very moving experience to watch. I saw the special when it first aired, and then again, after her passing. I don't know if there are words to describe what I felt as I watched this program, but I was impressed by her strength and sense of grace as she battled this disease. My prayers go to her family and loved ones, and to the millions of others who are also battling cancer.

On the passing of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett

Wow. Two people who were both very much icons of their era passed away on the same day. Say what you want about either of them, but one cannot deny the impact they had on the world.

Michael Jackson made his mark in the world by being a consummate performer, changing forever how we view music videos. He truly understood his craft, and did it well. Didn't we all try to "moon walk" just like him?

And Farrah! How could we forget one of the original "Charlie's Angels"? I think every girl wished she could have that beautiful head of hair!
