Today I have a wonderful quote from Farrah Fawcett. I don't know if any of you out there got a chance to watch the special "Farrah's Story", but I can tell you, it was a very moving experience to watch. I saw the special when it first aired, and then again, after her passing. I don't know if there are words to describe what I felt as I watched this program, but I was impressed by her strength and sense of grace as she battled this disease. My prayers go to her family and loved ones, and to the millions of others who are also battling cancer.

On the passing of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett
Wow. Two people who were both very much icons of their era passed away on the same day. Say what you want about either of them, but one cannot deny the impact they had on the world.
Michael Jackson made his mark in the world by being a consummate performer, changing forever how we view music videos. He truly understood his craft, and did it well. Didn't we all try to "moon walk" just like him?
And Farrah! How could we forget one of the original "Charlie's Angels"? I think every girl wished she could have that beautiful head of hair!

Alternate Alpha for Daisy a Day kit
I almost forgot...
I was going to mention this in my post today, and then I forgot...if you want some fun, go to aol radio, and connect to the tweet request station. You never know what you'll hear on there! For instance, I was listening yesterday, and they had a Shaun Cassidy song on! Tonight it's been Journay and Robert Palmer. Quite a variety on there... everything imaginable gets requested, I'm sure. :)
Crazy for Daisies!
OK- so I named this kit "A Daisy a Day", after the song. But maybe I should have named it "I went a little bit overboard on th daisies"! I started going, and couldn't stop-LOL! I had way too much fun experimenting with making papers with photographic backgrounds, and don't even get me started on the variations on the "daisy" png I made. Anyway, I hope somebody out there can have some fun with this kit. I divided it into 4 parts, alpha, papers, elements and wordart. Not all elements are shown in the preview. (Like I said, I made way too many daisies!) (Note: images are also linked)

I quoted wrong on the last post!!!! Tony Snow actually said "love is a valuable and precious thing"!
To make up for it, I have redone the wordart not once, but twice! Two different versions, each ith its own file and download link.
